Increasing in deeds during special times

Aishah (radi Allahu anha) said, “With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) would pray all the night, and would keep his family awake for the prayers. He tied his lower garment (i.e., avoided sleeping with his wives) and devoted himself entirely to prayer and supplication.”

[Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim]

Commentary:

One should try to do more good deeds in the blessed hours and times, as was the practice of the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) during the last ten days of the month of Ramadan every year.

And Allah Knows Best!
